The All Progressives Congress (APC) support group in Northern Nigeria, AA YARI Solidarity Movement (AA YASOMO), has assured to mobilise massive votes for Tinubu/Shettima’s re-election across the 19 northern states ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The assurance was made by the National Chairman of the organisation, Alhaji Umar Danmagadi Moriki, after the inaugural meeting of the organisation.

Moriki described the appointment of Senator Abdul’aziz Yari as Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) as a deserved and welcome development, describing him as a grassroots politician the national figure with nationwide political networks.

According to Moriki, the main objective of the group was to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election under the leadership of the Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for Tinubu/Shettima, Senator Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari.

“Our objective is to sensitise Nigerians on the importance of Tinubu’s re-election and the advantages of continuity in governance,” Danmagadi Moriki explained

He expressed satisfaction with the policies and programmes of President Tinubu’s administration, including reforms on the economy, infrastructural investments and strengthening the country’s fiscal policy.

“During the inauguration, we reviewed and discussed strategies for expanding the group’s grassroots mobilisation for APC success at all levels ahead of the 2027 election.

“We have structures at the Zonal, States, LGAs and Wards Levels.

“At the Zonal level, we have 17 executives; in each of the 19 States, we have 32 executives, and also 32 executives in each of the LGAs and Wards levels”, he said.

“We inaugurated this organisation; very soon we will embark on the inauguration of Zonal, State, LGA, and Wards Levels across the 19 Northern States.

“With these structures and arrangements, we are capable of mobilising millions of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His running mate, Kashim Shettima, in the 2027 general elections.

“Our structures are intact across Northern Nigeria; very soon we will begin grassroots engagement.

“We are determined to achieve our objectives through coordinated mobilisation and sustained engagement across Northern Nigeria”, Moriki explained.
